幼少の頃より音楽好きの家庭で育ち、クラシックバレエでの海外留学生活やピアノを通じて、表現することの喜びと深さを知る。
高校時代にバンド活動を始め、その後いくつかのバンドのボーカリストとして活動する。
2006年には地球を巡る旅をする。そこで、様々な文化や価値観、沢山の人々の笑顔や涙、そして雄大な大自然と触れ合い大きく成長する。
帰国後、2008年よりソロでの活動を始める。現在、東京を中心にライヴ活動中。
柔らかさと芯の強さを併せ持ち、母国語である日本語で原風景に触れるような心の唄を歌う。

Growing up in a musical household and learning to express herself through classical ballet and piano,
Shizuka has always had a great interest in music. Spending time overseas at a young age has also helped foster her musical talent.
Being a vocalist in various bands since high school Shizuka's musical taste begins to take shape.
Since performing in many bands as well as after brief periods of travelling the world since 2006 she has applied her unique cultural experiences and understanding to her songwriting.
With an original song basis and a strong heart for music Shizuka keeps a steady stream of live performances based in the Tokyo area.
